  1. Hello, Hola, Bonjour

  • We talk about what you need

    We set up a short discovery call and talk about your business and the goals for your project.

    I ask you questions about what outcome you want to achieve, your budget, and any deadlines.

    You’ll probably want to ask me some questions too. Fire away!

  • You get a quote from me

    If we decide we’re a good fit, I send over my proposal for the project, with deliverables, costs and a rough timeframe. I also send you my T&Cs.

  • You want to give it a whirl

    If you’re happy with the proposal, I send over your commencement invoice for 50% of the agreed fee. This books your project into my calendar. We also agree some key delivery dates. And we’re off!

2. Research

  • Getting ready

    It’s time to complete the copywriting brief. It includes details about your brand, voice, target market, competitors, and more.

    I can’t understate how valuable this is to me as your researcher, strategist and copywriter. It makes sure we both understand the project scope, and helps me gather all the extra bits of information I need to produce your solid messaging strategy and conversion-focused copy. You complete the document as best you can, and then we discuss on a 60-minute call.

  • ‘Voice of customer’ (VOC)

    As well as empathising with your customers’ pains, desires and objections, strong and persuasive copy uses words that your customers use. So I always recommend that I speak to some of your clients directly to collect these precious nuggets of customer research.

  • Messaging strategy

    I send you the VOC report and messaging strategy for your project, explaining the key pain points we’ll be empathising with, the benefits we’ll be highlighting, the objections we’ll be tackling and the desires we’ll be answering.


3. Writing & editing

  • Time to write

    Everything comes together in the conversion copywriting process. Whether it’s your website, your emails or a sales page, I draft a persuasive argument that speaks directly to your dream clients, using their words and your voice. You get a detailed copy deck that walks you through your copy.

  • Edits

    You review the draft copy within 14 days and I make any small revisions.

  • Job done

    We settle the remaining 50% of the project fee and I send your new copy documents to you with any tips for implementation.

  • Premium service

    You get a focused experience from day one. You always know how your project is progressing and when you’ll receive deliverables. I’m always at the end of an email to answer any questions.


4. Launch

  • The copy goes live

    Hurrah! After some happy back-patting, we watch to see if we’ve achieved the goals we identified in your brief. I’ll also follow up with you after three months to ask about the results you’ve been getting.

  • Anything else?

    By now, I know your business pretty well and, hopefully, it’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship! If we’ve identified any other areas I can help you with we can discuss those too.
